A) The success of the Dear Doctor lies in our ability to establish a marketing program that is both competitive and informative. When you sign up for Dear Doctor, we help you determine the zip codes to which we will market your dental services.
Q) Is there a required minimum order of Dear Doctor magazines?
A) Our experience confirms that the effectiveness of any successful marketing program is consistency. Our required minimum print-run for magazines containing your custom profile is 300 copies per quarter. This provides the base level distribution of a full year marketing program. There is no limit as to how many issues you'd like printed.
Q) How do I get started?
A) Once you sign an agreement with Dear Doctor, a 25-percent down payment is made to secure your local area... then the fun begins! We schedule a convenient time for you, your team and your patients to be photographed for the magazine if your office requires a custom photoshoot. After we have all the photography and have gathered some information, we will begin creating and designing your magazine brochure. The anticipated time it takes to complete this phase is two to four weeks. Once the design meets your approval, your Dear Doctor magazines are printed and quickly become a viable marketing tool for your practice as it is distributed throughout your community.
Q) How long does a typical photoshoot take?
A) If your office requires a professional photoshoot, Dear Doctor will arrange, coordinate and oversee the entire process. A typical photoshoot takes about 3 1/2 hours. All the images from this photography session are provided to the office so you can use the images for other marketing needs.
Q) Who will be designing my magazine brochure for my practice?
A) To design and create your magazine brochure, Dear Doctor provides you with the same creative designers who create the beautiful pages of the magazine each quarter. This ensures that your magazine brochure will be consistent with the rest of Dear Doctor magazine.
Q) How can I pay for Dear Doctor?
A) We provide you with several different payment options including credit card payments, payment by check, and other options. We require a 25-percent down payment and will spread the rest of the cost over 12 monthly, interest-free payments.
