Letter From Dear Doctor

By the time you read this, America will have elected a new president. What interesting and challenging times we live in. You may stop to ponder, is your cup half full or half empty? As our readership continues to grow, it allows us to continue to advocate for you as we push closer to our goal of "healthcare for all".

We certainly launched Dear Doctor in interesting times, but you have given us reason to continue to be optimistic about life and the future. We therefore want to take a time out to thank you, our readers for your spirited and rave reviews, emails, questions, suggestions and innovations that you see reflected in each evolving issue of Dear Doctor Magazine.

Talking of innovations, we have had multiple requests from both health professionals and you, the public-at-large, for a Spanish version of Dear Doctor magazine — Dear Doctor – Odontologia y Salud Oral, en Espanol. So here it is — I must admit, it does have a ring to it.

We have been working feverishly to respond to this request and accomplish this latest goal. We hope this new Spanish version will spread knowledge of dentistry and oral health to Spanish speakers not only in the northern and southern Americas, but also to those throughout the world. We hope this helps us to further spread our mission: to provide current and accurate information and education on health care issues in an easy to read, fun and enjoyable format thereby allowing individuals and families to make better and informed healthcare decisions along with their healthcare professionals.

Please continue to let us hear from you so that we at Dear Doctor can in turn continue to reflect the oral health care issues and concerns that are important to you and that affect your health, well being and enjoyment of life.
