Dr. Michael Simmons

Dr. Michael Simmons received his Dental Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1981. He completed post-graduate training in TMD and pain management at UCLA (1987), earned a Master of Science in Sleep Medicine from University of Sydney (Australia) Medical School (2016), and is completing his MPH degree at UCLA. Dr. Simmons is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has lectured internationally and co-authored papers and book chapters on Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction. Dr. Simmons serves as Director of two accredited Sleep Medicine facilities and was a lecturer at UCLA and clinical assistant professor at USC.
