Dr. Joseph Cristoforo

Dr. Cristoforo has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Periodontics at SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and as a Guest Lecturer in Periodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is Past President of the Long Island Academy of Periodontics and is currently President of the NY State Society of Periodontists. Dr. Cristoforo has also served on the Committee on Clinical Practice of the American Academy of Periodontology. He currently serves as the NY State liaison to the State and Regional Assembly of the American Academy of Periodontology. Board certified from the American Board of Periodontology, he maintains a private practice specializing in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery.
