Dr. Shapoff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and serves as the Vice-Chairman of the American Board of Periodontology. He has served as President of the Bridgeport Dental Association, Connecticut Society of Periodontists and Northeastern Society of Periodontists. Dr. Shapoff has lectured to numerous dental groups on behalf of Johnson and Johnson, Dentsply International, USBiomaterials, NovaBone Inc., BioLok International Dental Implants, BioHorizons International, Block Drug Company and Butler Sunstar Company. He has lectured throughout the U.S., Canada and internationally in Europe, South America, Mexico, Asia and Australia. Dr. Shapoff has also been published in numerous dental and periodontal journals.
