Dr. Bergen James gained her DDS from the University of California San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 1989 and completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Harvard University School of Dentistry and Boston Children's Hospital in 1991. She was formerly an assistant clinical professor in the faculty in the department of pediatric dentistry at the University of Pacific, San Francisco, and has been in private practice limited to pediatric dentistry for the last 17 years.
