Dr. Russell J. Cecala

Dr. Cecala earned his BS degree from Loyola University, Chicago, IL and his DDS from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at Reynolds Army Hospital in Fort Sill, OK. He served in the US army including Operation Desert Storm. His MS degree in Oral Biology and a certificate in Periodontology was earned at the University of Iowa Medical Center. He has taught as an Assistant Clinical Professor, University of Illinois, College of Dentistry, Department of Periodontics. Dr. Cecala is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has lectured nationally on bone grafting and guided bone regeneration. Since 1977, he has been in private practice limited to periodontology and implant dentistry.
