Warning signs of Gum Disease

If you are experiencing any of these signs you should be evaluated by your dentist or periodontist.
- Gums that bleed during brushing or eating
- Gums that feel swollen or tender
- Persistent bad breath
- Pus between your gums and teeth
- Gums that are receding or pulling back from your teeth
- Changes in the way your teeth fit together when you bite
- Sores in your mouth
Keep in mind: Cigarettes often hide the signs of periodontal (gum) disease.
