The Value of a Two-Phased Approach to Orthodontics

When it comes to your children's teeth, you want what is best—the best results and value! For this reason, if you notice bite or misalignment issues as their permanent teeth are surfacing, you should quickly schedule an appointment with your dentist or an orthodontist for a consultation. While this may surprise some parents or caregivers, reality is that a first phase of orthodontic treatment may prevent, intercept, or minimize future orthodontic treatment. And if a second phase is later required, the phase one treatment may set the conditions up so that the second phase is easier and less costly than if you had omitted phase one.
