If so, and you are in the 31-50 age group, then you are like 70% of the U.S. population according to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Other interesting polls conclude: 50% of people are unsatisfied with their smile, 74% feel an unattractive smile can hurt their chances for career success, 96% believe an attractive smile makes a person more appealing to the opposite sex, and a whopping 99.7% of all Americans believe a smile is an important social asset. Based on all of these statistics, you begin to see the underlying psychological and physical benefits that go hand-in-hand with a beautiful smile.
