Dr. William Carpenter

Dr. William Carpenter graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (1964) and completed a fellowship and residency in oral pathology (1975) at the U.S. Army Institute of Dental Research and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. He was a Colonel in the United States Army Dental Corps for 21 years. He has been Director of the Division of Pathology and Medicine at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry since 1986. Dr. Carpenter has lectured and published extensively in the fields of oral biology and oral pathology.
