Dr. Richard Cohan received his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University, his MS in biology from Southern Methodist University and an MA in educational psychology and an MBA from University of the Pacific. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has co-authored several journal articles on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM); is the principal author of a chapter on CAM in the leading pharmacology text for dentistry; and a chapter on CAM products in "Pharmacology in Dental Medicine" in the Clinician's Guide Series of the American Association of Oral Medicine.
